This book isn't very informative it mostly just personal stories. But I still like it.
5 stars? More like 10! July 22, 2002 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
This is one of the most entertaining and enjoyable books I have ever read! It is like having a hilarious conversation with your best friend. The insight and observations recorded in this book will surely prove handy when I start college in the fall. The vocabulary and descriptions are simply perfect. A must read for all ages.

I bought this book for myself after highschool graduation. I read it on the plane going away for the summer and I couldn't stop laughing. I have spent a lot of time away from home and so many of what Zach says is totally true. I stayed at a local college for a year and now that I am moving into the dorm I actually pulled his book out as a manual for dorm life! This is a great reference book for college students to have on hand. Whenever college seems scary just pull it out. I have a friend who is graduating highschool this year and I went looking for the book to give it to him. But the stores don't carry the book anymore! I knew I wanted him to have this book before he went away to college, but I hated the thought of giving up my copy. I was so glad Amazon has it! This is a GREAT book for anyone to read before college, in college, or after college. It provides laughs, truth, and tips. It makes going away to college a lot less scary. Make sure every Christian and Non-Christian highschool graduate has this book packed somewhere in there car(it will fit under the seat if you have to) when they leave for college. Thanks Zach for such a great book!! I wish I'd thought of it!
Great Gift November 19, 2001 14 out of 15 found this review helpful
I bought this book as a going away to college present for my daughter on her eighteenth birthday just a week before she was to start college. She was getting nervous about the big move and this really helped her face the future. She absolutely loved it! She was laughing so hard and she couldn't put it down. I skimmed the book and found it told it like it is in a down to earth way. Now that she's been gone for a few months she told me it's all true! This would make a really good Christmas gift for a high school senior or a high school graduation present.
Witty, humerous and most importantly, TRUE May 27, 2001 6 out of 8 found this review helpful
I went to the same school as the author in fourth grade, and just recently went to the book signing he had at ... . We talked for a while and I have to admit, he is just as hysterical in person and just as funny as he used to be in class. I know that everyone who is going off to college or is already attending or if youve already graduated, you will all find this book to be a great laugh. Dont even be surprised if you do it out loud in front of a bunch of people you dont know. Just show them the book and tell them to buy it, it is most certainly worth it. Im almost tempted to buy another autographed copy just to sell it after it sells out and he becomes famous. And I would not be surprised at all if the review of this book from the reader in Tomball is him.
