I am a plus sized woman and bought this suit this summer Boy, was I in for a wonderful surprise. Not only is it very comfortable, but there is an undersheath that 'holds' everything in place underneath it. Back, tummy, chest isn't flowing out (although not so heavy uptop for me.. I carry it other places), it is a great fit. I feel comfortable going to the beach and playing w/ my children. I like knowing nothing is bouncing as I walk from place to place. Now if only they could invent somthing like this for the upper thigh? Spanks for summer fun, perhaps? I will be buing another suit like this as I now go to the beach often.
As for it's care, I have only worn it in the ocean. I have washed it once in the washing machine and noticed ot looked a bit worn after. The tag does say 'hand wash'. All other times I have washed it by hand

Although I really liked the way this suit fit, I was dismayed to find that the elastic was literally "eaten" when I used it in a public hot tub. I blame myself for possibly not rinsing it out well enough but I would not get this suit again since other ones manage to survive hot tubs and this one didn't. I had to throw it out after wearing it only a few times. If you get this suit, DON'T wear it in a heavily chemical-laden hot tub. Otherwise, it will probably be a good suit to own.
