Travel Resource November 10, 2008 "Travel Detective Bible" is an excellent source for information on travel "do's and dont's. Information for all travelers... from jet setters to those taking their very first trip. Peter Greenberg puts it all in an informative, easy and fun read!
Great travel book! September 11, 2008 This very well-written and informative book has real useful information by a travel tramp who knows the real ins and outs of travel with very informative and helpful ideas you would never think of to save your trip, your health and your wallet. East to read and in chapters, so you can read areas that interest you most first. The whole book is a great read and I learned many things I would have never known even though I do travel on a regular basis internationally. No details have been left out and travelers can plan their trips much better after reading this book. I looked at other books in the bookstore and this one stands out. Real helpful information explicitly told and you won't want to put this book down. A+ Kevin
Couldn't put it down. August 31, 2008 After I saw Peter on Good Morning America, I promptly ordered the book from Amazon. When it arrived, I breezed through the table of contents and decided that it appeared that my best approach would be to start with the first chapter. Spent many evenings fascinated.
I travel a great deal. In January I planned to spend time in Belgium where my grandchild will be born. I need to keep my Executive Coaching business flowing so I was wondering what to do about my cell phone to keep connected to the United States. I went to his book and there were all kinds of tips. Makes my research and decision making very easy. Kathy Condon, Executive Coach, Speaker and Trainer. Author of the book "It Doesn't Hurt to Ask: It is all about communication."

You NEED this book! January 17, 2008 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
I've been traveling for business and pleasure for 37 years, up to two weeks and half a dozen different cities per month. Most importantly, my travels have been on my dime, because I'm self-employed, and I've sought every time- and money-saving ploy I could come up with. But I learned a frightening amount of new information from this book.
There is a good mixture of tips for buying tickets, getting the most from your hotel stays, and other procedural topics, as well as good information oriented towards specific destinations. This book is excellent for browsing, or for reading from cover-to-cover.
If you think you know everything there is to know about travel: you don't. Peter Greenberg does, however, and you should take advantage of his expertise.
