Weak on Historical Terms January 14, 2008 I was looking for a dictionary that would help me with some non-esoteric historical words in Mexican Spanish. This dictionary seems OK at first glance, but not exactly what I was looking for e.g for "jacal" a one word definition; "hut" which I already knew. Not helpful.

This dictionary was advertised as used, but like new. In fact, the spine was broken, the hard cover was bent and curled, and also scratched. I've attempted to contact Abookarama several times by phone and e-mail, but only have gotten a recording promising to call me back, which they have not done. For this I paid more than double for the same book in pristine condition through Amazon. I want to negotiate a new price or return it, but can't get the company to respond. I'm grateful for this purchese review opportunity.
it is really good. November 5, 2007 I read other rewievs before buying. I read comments about missing pages and thought i would try. then i saw another review thinking exactly like me and unfortunately she had seen missing pages. then i decided not to buy. after week i really needed the dictionary and decided to buy it anyway. i have it now and don`t have any missing pages. luck:) it is a good reference dictionary.
