Product Description
Finally a male point of view -- usually when it comes to breaking down relationships between men and women you hear advice from over-the-hill psychologists or unqualified doctors but not the average male, and never a masculine brother with any kind of urban flavor. The Re-Education of the Female changes that. For years, women have been the more communicative gender. Now women will have an idea of what the men in their lives may be thinking; and in some cases, why they think a certain way. Women will gain insight on some of the actions and behaviors portrayed by men, which once may have been deemed judgmental, insensitive, or just plain rude. Dante Moore has depicted the male psyche from many different angles on how a man not only perceives women, but how one relates and responds to them as well.

It's written in black and white, with a no-holds-barred approach -- forcing women to take a step back and think a moment before engaging in conversations, relationships, affairs, sexual encounters, and more with the opposite sex. Keeping it real and delivering the all-out truth was undoubtedly Moore's main focus when writing this book. Although candid and direct, this book will prove to be very enlightening as it gives intimate details on what men are looking for physically, mentally, socially and emotionally versus what they're actually witnessing, experiencing and in some cases, tolerating.

A mature and open-minded intellect will really understand and appreciate this representation of the male point of view. This book is the perfect starting point for women to evaluate themselves with a little more detail, before pointing fingers and tossing blame at the endless reasons surrounding why they can't find a "good man."

1 out of 5 stars RESPECT YOURSELVES, LADIES!   November 21, 2008
1 out of 1 found this review helpful

I'll start first by saying, I truly wanted to like this book. Really. However, my intellect is well beyond it and my self-respect just wasn't having it...

The back cover warns of a no-holds barred approach, but it does not fully prepare you for what lies ahead. Ladies, be forewarned - this is NOT a mini-manual for your teenage girls. A male's perspective on relationships is imperative, however, it depends on the male. If you're looking for solid advice that brings results, this is not the book. The author belittle us, at best. Dante Moore offers nothing more than what many women already know (but maybe don't want to face), and his delivery is offered in the most degrading way. Maybe Mr. Moore should have kept his mother, grandmother, sisters or any female loved one in mind before writing this garbage.

If you're looking for good, straight up relational advice, try someone along the lines of Hill Harper or Finesse. These brothers will give it to you straight while maintaining the decency and respect women so need to embrace. Final words: you may not understand men right now, but you are beautiful, smart, and to be treasured -- seek advice from a man who knows that.

5 out of 5 stars The Truth   September 24, 2008

Keeeping a man is easy, don't laugh don't scarf just read it. Basically, make your man feel like a king if you want to be treated like royalty.

1 out of 5 stars You've GOT to be kidding me   September 1, 2008

The author has never been married, admits to "never having found true love", and is the absentee father of an 11-year-old from a "previous relationship". Sounds to me like he's never emotionally developed beyond adolescence to me, and no woman would actually WANT to be married to him, and I wouldn't blame them a bit.

Ladies, don't buy this book, unless you like being angry, or unless you're looking for something to laugh at. Even then, purchase it from a used book store (there should be plenty of them used, assuming previous purchasers don't burn the thing outright), so the author doesn't see a single penny from the purchase, because he doesn't deserve to be rewarded for being a misogynist.

Would have rated this with zero stars, if the review system here would allow me to do so.

1 out of 5 stars Ugh!   August 30, 2008

Women need this book like a fish needs a bicycle.

I'd rather be single than be 're-educated' into being an obedient bimbo. The kind of man I would catch if I moulded myself into a woman like that is not the kind of man I would ever WANT to catch, so why bother?

The guy who wrote this book has never been married and says he's never truly been in love (which is something his girlfriend must love hearing!), so what makes him think he's qualified to write a book like this? He's a computer expert...and how many I.T. guys do you know who are experts on women? I could count the ones I know of on the Venus de Milo's fingers. The writer knows a bit about what some men, men like himself, are like. But not all men. And he knows nothing about women.

This is the kind of book you laugh at, and don't take seriously. If you're looking for a genuine self-help book, keep looking, unless you believe the road to happiness should involve becoming a doormat, and that your partner's happiness is far more important than your own. And if you're a bit on the plump side, definitely avoid reading this book, unless you're into torturing yourself and think your self-esteem could use some lowering.

5 out of 5 stars Insight into a man's mind   August 28, 2008

This book isn't about women. It's about how men view women, and for that it's priceless. Moore doesn't varnish things, and he's funny. I give it five stars not because he knows anything about females (he doesn't), but because he knows a LOT about males. If you want to peek under the hood of the brains of quite a few men (not all men, but a certain type), this book will give you that glimpse. Scary? Well, yeah, but true. Kudos to the author for just being honest.
