Super Hero Junkie January 6, 2009 My 8 yr old son is a Super Hero Junkie. He has been obsessed with super heroes since he was about 2 yrs old. This Dictionary is AMAZING!! It has superheroes that even my son has not heard of, and they are all listed in alphabetical order. It is a great resource for anyone who would like to learn about more superheroes, their powers and their histories. It is a huge hardcover book, very durable. My son loves it so much, he reads it every night and sleeps with it. It is well worth the investment.
Interesting December 22, 2008 I wasn't going to give this five stars, however as someone who has grown up with DC, it opened my eyes to that world. Good reading however, it just goes to show that there are a lot more heroes and evil types that no one thinks about. The minor characters were what interested me, their past and present situations are what may draw one in to the DC world

Great price for great quality November 25, 2008 I live in Spain and the price for this encyclopedia in comic shops is 40 euros. I think this price I've paid in amazon is really great, and the encyclopedia of course is awesome.
