wonderful December 22, 2008 This is a wonderful product. I am a physics major at the University of Arizona and the conversion tables and formulas have been found to be extremely helpful. I have also periodically turned to it outside of school to answer someones question or to answer my own or just to browse through it for something interesting. The Pocket Ref is a wonderfully useful and convenient product. I never leave home without it.
for the man who has everything! December 22, 2008 I bought this for my husband - a guy who pretty much has everthing he needs and is very hard to shop for. Even I am amazed at the amount of information in this book - things we will actually refer to! It covers everything!! My 13 yr. old son is very into science and he will also find tons of info. in this to use! Every household should have this book - you WILL use it! Our only minor complaint is due to the size, it is a bit challenging to read but, after all, it is meant to fit in your pocket!
Great for trivia buff December 20, 2008 My 13 year old son wanted this book for Christmas. He loved all the facts in it and took it on a trip to keep himself (and his family) entertained.
