It has many wonderful special features like "did you know?" boxes that provide background from biblical scholars written in corresponding chapters. This is a bible that can be picked-up, read and understood by anyone. It is a "must have" if you are Catholic and have children.
Great Format/Additions November 4, 2008 I love the layout of this Bible and the little additions the editor has made. There are little boxes throughout that include various things to think about and how to put the stories from the Bible into our own personal lives. I really love this Bible and that's probably one of the reasons my church uses it for ALL of our youth!
