Judge a book... April 5, 2008 Don't be fooled by what Amazon says as "used". I bought a used one. Hmmm...looks brand new to me.
This Bible is really good for people who dims out the light and reads the Bible (because they don't wanna be seen reading the thing - just kidding)
Seriously, my grandmother loves this one because of the large text and the distance between the letters. It is not too heavy as opposed to many people think.
Overall - highly recommended for people whose eyes have gone lesser perfect because of reading the Scriptures.

This was a gift to my husband. For the price this is a great Bible.
He said the letters were easy to see and the binding is nice. He loved the maps.
I would recommend this to anyone who wants a TRADITIONAL BIBLE, short and to the point. I personally prefer other versions but he is very traditional and LOVED IT. And he is not easy to please.

The Bible is very nice with a couple exceptions...Jesus' words are to be in red and are, I suppose, but barely. For an impaired 87 year old it's hardly noticeable. Also it would have been better if the footnotes had been in the center of the page instead of under each verse.

As a person with bad eyesight I needed a Bible with as large a print as I could find. This one has all the things that I like . It has large enough print, lots of references, easy to use index, and very good layout. I recomend this one for all that have problems reading regular print Bibles.
