Product Description When we purposefully change our handwriting, we introduce attitudes that can improve our relationships, give us the impetus to achieve and take risks, and simply bring out the best in us. This is because our handwriting is a reflection of our innermost thoughts and feelings. When we fall in love, survive a serious illness, or change careers, our view of life is dramatically altered and, as a result, our handwriting patterns change. Conversely, desired transformations can result from intentionally changing the way specific letters are written:
* Stick to that diet by changing the letter T.
* Avoid being overlooked for that well-deserved promotion by changing the letter G.
* Reduce stress and cease juggling too many things at once by changing the letter S.
* Overcome shyness or stage fright by changing the letter A.
Included is an enlightening assessment test that identifies those personality traits requiring attention. Your Handwriting Can Change Your Life profoundly reveals that the key to making dreams come true is as simple as putting pen to paper.
This is a form of meditation expressed through handwriting! November 22, 2008 I have always practiced my handwriting. This book allows me to practice with a really clear purpose. I did not believe the book would have any effect on my personality. And if it did work, I thought I would have to follow her guidelines and practice for at least a month before I saw any changes. Well, that isn't the case. I sometimes have a hard time making up my own mind and I often need reassurance from others even when I know I am right. So I practice my lower case d's. And voila, I feel confident and secure about whatever I am thinking about. I don't even have to write them anymore. I just mentally practice the d the way she prescribes it... To be honest, I am sure I am a somewhat less irritating person to my loved ones. lol. I reassure myself. No need to harass them. :)
Keeping it simple. I love the book. I look forward to having the time to practice the other letters!
Very interesting November 11, 2008 It doesn't just tell you about your writing style, it shows exactly how to make changes that will impact your life. It is interesting to learn that simply changing the way you write one letter of the alphabet can make a big difference in your relationships, home & business. I am enjoying implementing the "new" handwriting daily. Sometimes, I feel like a kid learning cursive for the first time. It's exciting!

This is a GREAT book, recomended by Louise Hay..This book reconnects your brain and tells you certain thing about the WAY you write and how to change them. I wanted it so that I could switch from right handed to left handed...and I'm still reading and re-reading it. This is a must if you want to turn your life around and change!
Not Practical June 28, 2008 0 out of 3 found this review helpful
As other people have stated that changing your handwriting and emphasizing certain cognitive change could lead to self-improvement, the "Vimala" alphabet I believe is not a practical in today's business environment. There are plenty of much better self-help books if that is what you need.
YES, it can! January 31, 2008 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
I stopped handwriting in junior high and developed very neat printing instead. For years I felt vulnerable about my handwriting. I also felt a longing to shed myself of my handwriting discomfort and thought changing my writing patterns could have a profound positive influence on me. Then I attended a 3-day workshop which taught the principles found in this book. I was ready to confront my uneasiness with handwriting once and for all but also wondered if I would really be able to do it in a natural, flowing way. I actually wondered if my hand would cooperate! Well, not only did I discover some very plausible reasons for why I stopped handwriting in the first place but I also found out that, yes, much to my astonishment and delight, my hand was capable of beautiful handwriting.
For me, simply handwriting--without implementing the daily letter and writing practice she recommends-- brought a wonderful shift in me. I felt a deeper calm, more at ease. Perhaps not coincidentally, four months after switching to handwriting I became pregnant after five years of struggling with fertility issues. A couple of months ago I began the daily writing practice Vimala recommends and have already experienced many inner and outer miracles. For anyone who feels inspired to harness their positive qualities, dig for buried treasure, fulfill their dearest dreams I highly recommend Your Handwriting Can Change Your Life! Vimala's book is filled with wisdom and hope for us all.
