and it was just right January 6, 2009 Dear Zoo is a delightful little story. The flaps are easy for little fingers to open and also tough enough to withstand a little pulling. My daughter chooses this to read often and doesn't mind at all that she has learned what animals are under the flaps.
Keeps 'em busy December 15, 2008 Bought for my 15 month old, for a plane trip. He was delighted by each page, the repetitive wording was simple enough for him to enjoy as I read to him. Growled at the lion, laughed at the monkey. With time, the lift-the-flaps have broken in enough for him to open w/o help. Cardboard flaps are fairly sturdy, although will bend and tear if your toddler is enthusiastic about books.
Great Book December 2, 2008 My toddler really likes this book. He's at the age where flap books are his favorite and he can make animal sounds.
