Excellent Book! October 14, 2008 There are few book that are must-reads. That will help you to navigate the minefield of earning tenure and surviving the madness of being a person of color in the academy. This is one of those rare gems that will help you to anticipate the challenges and to remind you that you are not in this struggle alone, others understand, and have succeeded. I give this book my highest recommendation.
