The ninth edition remains true to its roots, presenting exemplary instruction, savory mainstream dishes (that still make use of convenience foods and the products of parent company General Mills), and, most notably, standout chapters on baking and dessert specialties. cookbook January 6, 2009 This cookbook was a Christmas gift for my grandaughter. She was thrilled to get it and said she would start using it right away.
The most famous cook of them all! January 2, 2009 My nephew wanted cookbooks from any famous people so that he could build up his library and learn to cook like them. I sent Betty Crocker's Cookbook cause this is the first cookbook anyone should have. It's simple and easy to use and we've all grown up with and use Betty Crocker's recipes everyday. My newphew loves it too.
Truely the best December 27, 2008 I received this as a present and I spilled coffee all over. I got really upset because the pages got stuck. I bought another one straight away. Can't live without it!
Cookbook goodness December 16, 2008 The name is pretty self-explanatory. It's a cookbook that not only has recipes, but also teaches and explains things that you need to know to cook.
Betty Crocker cookbook November 10, 2008 I have an old Betty Crocker from the 50's and it's in pretty bad shape but I would be lost without it...that is why I wanted an up-to-date version. I just love the book and have already tried several recipes. I consider myself a pretty good cook who is always looking for new recipes as well as the tried and true ones.
