The Poo Log gives you a giggle while you dribble! September 20, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I purchased the Poo Log for a friend who was going to be getting bariatric surgery for weight loss (the Duodenal Switch). One of the side effects of any weight loss surgery is a change in bowel habits - potentially anxiety inducing to anyone who worries that they will ... hmmm... be less pleasant. ;) This book turned out to be the perfect way to calm those fears with laughter and even be useful as a tool to research and record actual experiences to help future patients of this surgery understand what really happens to your poo post Duodenal Switch!
A fun log to keep while and after you poo...but... July 21, 2008 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a fun log to keep while you are pooing and after you poo. However, there is some misinformation on the back cover of this log that buyers need to be aware of. The back cover states: "With handy reference charts, extensive checklists (shape, color, consistency, etc.), interesting nuggets, and screamingly funny illustrations throughout, this journal makes every trip to the can an e-loo-cidating experience. Who knew one could learn so much from poo? "
1. There is no handy reference chart. It only comes with a "glossary" of different types of poo. 2. Interesting nuggets: these are at the bottom of each page of the log but there are only about 12 different nuggets and so they repeat until the end of the log 3. There are no "screamingly funny illustration."
So, don't think you can occupy your time in the loo with reading the interesting nuggets of information since there are only about 12 little facts which repeat. Nevertheless, it is fun to keep a log of what comes out of #2.
