A must read for fathers with daughters November 12, 2008 This book reveals Dr. Meekers amazing insight into the pitfalls our daughters face in today's society. READ THIS BOOK, you could be saving your daughters life!!
Every father should read this, embrace this, breathe this October 28, 2008 My boss recommended this book for us to help with my 13 year old daughter. For a "self-help" book, it is well written, easy to understand and extremely helpful. I highly recommend it to all fathers, step-fathers, boyfriends of mother's with daughters.... This is a must read!
Strong Book October 28, 2008 I am normally not a person who likes self-help books but a friend of mine recommended it. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. It was an outstanding book which made a lot of sense. The author does a wonderful job with the flow of the book making it a fast read. Important themes are repeated. It was very helpful to me as a father of a 3 yr old. It also has good advice that can be useful to both parents (my wife is now reading the book). I highly recommend it.
Great Book October 20, 2008 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
The book does a great job explaining how important a father is to a daughter. I had no sisters so I didn't no exactly what I was getting into when I had a daughter. Some people may not like the book because it talks about faith. I think this is BS, and that raising a kid without some type of faith is not being a complete parent.
Great book for a new parent October 12, 2008 This was really a powerful book. Its basically a doctor telling about her experiences with children and their issues. What caused them, and what the father could have done to cause or prevent this from happening.
Id suggest any new parent to read this. It lets you know and realize what an important role the father plays in the relationship.
